Family Counseling

Our Pastor dedicates significant time and effort to personally visit the families of our Church, providing individualized attention and support. This ministry is rooted in a deep commitment to understanding and nurturing the spiritual growth of each family member, as well as addressing their daily struggles and needs.

1 Peter 5:2-3 instructs leaders to “Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.” Our Pastor embodies this calling by visiting families, praying with them, and offering spiritual guidance.

During these visits, our Pastor focuses on:

– Understanding Spiritual Growth: He seeks to comprehend each family’s spiritual journey and growth. Hebrews 10:24-25 encourages this: “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

– Day-to-Day Activities: Our Pastor is interested in the daily lives of our Church members to offer practical support and encouragement. Galatians 6:2 says, “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” By understanding daily struggles, he can help bear these burdens with the families.

– Addressing Struggles: He offers support and prayer for the challenges individuals and families face in their lives. Philippians 4:6-7 reassures us: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

– Spiritual Guidance: Providing direction and counsel rooted in Scripture, our Pastor helps families navigate their spiritual paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

We are deeply grateful to God for our Pastor and his family’s unwavering commitment to this vital ministry. Their dedication ensures that each family in our Church receives the care, guidance, and support needed to thrive spiritually and practically.
