"You should not believe your conscience and your feelings more than the Word which the Lord Who receives sinners preaches to you."

Sunday Worship Service

Inspired by the early Church as described in Acts 2:42-47, our Sunday gatherings are devoted to the worship and glorification of our Lord. Each week, we come together in fellowship at our designated worship place to deepen our faith and grow as a spiritual community, following the example set by the early believers who “devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer” (Acts 2:42).

Our worship service includes:

– Congregational Hymns: Singing hymns that are deeply rooted in Scripture, lifting our voices in praise and worship as we are called to do in Colossians 3:16: “Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly…through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.”

– Responsive Scripture Reading: Engaging in the reading of Scripture together, fostering a shared reflection on God’s Word, as emphasized in 1 Timothy 4:13: “Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching.”

– Intercessory Prayer: Offering prayers for the needs of our church, community, and the world, standing in the gap for those who seek the Lord’s intervention, in the spirit of 1 Timothy 2:1: “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people.”

– Biblical Teaching: We are currently journeying through the book of Ephesians, having previously completed Galatians. This Sunday, we will delve into the sixth chapter of Ephesians, exploring its rich teachings and practical applications, in accordance with 2 Timothy 2:15: “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.”

– Holy Communion: Celebrating the Lord’s Supper as a remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice and our unity in Him, as He commanded in 1 Corinthians 11:24-25: “Do this in remembrance of me.”

– Offering: An opportunity to give back to God as an act of worship, supporting the ministry and mission of the church, following the principle found in 2 Corinthians 9:7: “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

– Closing Prayer and Benediction: Concluding our time together with a prayer of blessing and a benediction, sending us out to live out our faith in the world, as seen in 2 Corinthians 13:14: “May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.”

Join us this Sunday as we continue to grow together in faith, love, and service, following the example of the early Church.
